Property Business Sold to Univest Insurance 12/01/2008
After 45 years of serving our clients’ property & casualty, life, and group insurance needs, we have decided to shift our business strategy to enable us to concentrate our employees’ talents and our financial resources on our long standing investments in our MMPMET group health insurance program and our sister companies Benefit Allocation Systems, Inc. and Cobra Control Services, LLC.
To this end, effective December 1, 2008, we are assigning all or our clients’ property & casualty policies (commercial insurance and personal lines insurance such as auto and homeowners policies) to Univest Corporation of PA and Univest Insurance, Inc.– a financially strong, regional leader in banking, insurance and investments. To assure you continue to receive the high level of service you have come to expect from Taylor & Ochroch, your account manager, Annamarie Guarnere, will also move to Univest Insurance, Inc. In Annamarie’s role as commercial account executive with Univest Insurance, she will continue to be your daily insurance contact for the commercial property and casualty policies. For personal auto and homeowners insurance customers, a member of Univest's specialized Personal Lines team will be assigned as your personal agent and will work in conjunction with Annemarie during the transition.

Your Group Health Insurance
If Taylor & Ochroch provides you with group health insurance programs, then Taylor & Ochroch will continue to act as your agent and your insurance programs will continue unaffected by the transfer of your property & casualty account to Univest Insurance. The Transfer
Effective December 1, 2008, Taylor & Ochroch will transfer all of your property & casualty original files and policy information to Univest Insurance. T&O will maintain electronic copies of your files and records for a minimum of seven (7) years, as required by law and as a backup to the files provided to Univest Insurance
However, effective December 1, 2008, you will begin to contact Annamarie at Univest Insurance at 484-391-2050 or by email at guarnerea@Univest.net for ongoing account services.
